How can I register for the World Congress 2019 in Tallinn?

Please go to the registration page on our website, choose the right ticket option (JCI Member ticket or non-member (Standard) ticket), fill out the registration form and – you’re done! In case you encounter any problems in the registration process, please send an e-mail to kirsike.kukk@jciwc2019.com.

Do I need a visa to get to Estonia?

Nationals of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and any third-country national holding a residence permit of a Schengen State do not need a visa to enter Estonia. You do need a visa, when you are travelling from any other countries. For further information, please visit the Visa information page on our webpage.

How can I get an invitation letter for my visa request?

Invitation letters will be provided to registered and paid participants starting from January 2019. In case you need it earlier, please send an e-mail to kirsike.kukk@jciwc2019.com.

What are the official dates of 2019 JCI World Congress?

The congress will take place from 4th to 8th of November 2019. Some additional parts of the program, for example, sightseeing tours could be organized as pre or after events. Check our program page for all updates.

 

What is the location of the 2019 JCI World Congress?

JCI World Congress programme will take you to several different locations in Tallinn city centre or nearby (for example Radisson Blu Olümpia Hotel and Radisson Blu Sky Hotel (above) as our main day programme locations). For more details please go to the venues page on our webpage.

What will be the official hotels of the 2019 JCI World Congress?

What is so special about the programme in 2019?

First of all – we put a lot of emphasis on to top quality programme – so, whether it is keynotes, training programmes, tours or entertainment – we guarantee you only the very best. We’re going to have 3 theme days – Transformational DayDigital Innovation Day with Hackathon and Clean World Day. So, whether you are interested in developing yourself, your business or making the world a better place – we do have something very good for everybody. What is Pure Magic program?

The conference from 4rth to 8rth november 2019 will lead you towards 5 days rich with energy and innovative activities. It include programs related to business & leadership, start-up hackathon, keynotes speakers, skills training workshop, company visits, business fairs and all day entertainment programme. All this magic going to happens in Estonia, where clean and untouched nature co-exists with the world’s most digitally advanced society.

How do I get to Tallinn?

Travelling to Estonia is quick and convenient thanks to frequent connections with Scandinavia, Russia, Eastern and Central Europe. You can fly to Tallinn with a number of direct routes from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Paris, Vienna and many more cities. Ferry routes connect Tallinn with Helsinki, Stockholm and Saint Petersburg. So, one of the best options is to take a Finnair flight to Helsinki and continue your travel to Tallinn by ferry (NB! We have a special programme on the ferry by JCI Finland!). Travel by international coach from virtually any country in Europe with, EcolinesLux Express or Eurolines. Arrive by train with Go Rail from China, Mongolia, Central Asia, Ukraine, Moldova and more.

How to get to city center from airport / harbour / train station?

Getting to the city center from airport or harbour, Bus no. 2 makes the trip approximately after every 20 minutes and operates from 6:30 am until midnight. The bus departs from the airport’s lowest level, down the escalator from the arrivals hall whereas, for port, it connects with A-Terminal to the city.  The most central stop is the Laikmaa stop on Laikmaa Street, between the Tallink Hotel and the Viru Centre shopping mall. If you are coming by train you can walk to the centre of Old Town that will take just 10 minutes.

Moreover, Tram no. 4 from the airport to the city centre operates a frequent schedule from 5:30 am until 00:45 am. The tram stop is located next to the terminal towards the city. The most central stop is the Viru stop.

What will be the weather in November?

In Estonia, the climate is Baltic, i.e slightly continental, with cold winters and mild, moderately rainy summers. In November, the average temperature is +1°c and ranges between +4C to -2 C. It could be cloudy and rainy so do not forget your umbrella and raincoat. Bring warm clothes including jackets, gloves, scarf, and warm caps.

You are welcome to come with your family. We promise to provide exciting kids program that everyone regardless of age will have great time at JCI World Congress 2019.

I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

Unfortunately, we haven’t such option.
